Entertainment tax may be a ‘fun’ way to help balance Toledo’s budget

While thousands of Toledoans will attend MudHens games and pack entertainment venues across the city this spring as a way to alleviate the pains of the recession, their purchased tickets may well end up fixing the very cause of their anguish. The University of Toledo’s art department has been rife with controversy of late. The most recent round precipitated by an online petition wanting to save the drawing program from the axe of budget cutting. This has started a debate over whether the drawing program is being eliminated.
